How our skip bags service works
Order your bag
Choose a size and we deliver it to your door, usually the next day.
Fill it at your own pace
Load household waste, garden waste or DIY materials. Keep it on your driveway or front garden, somewhere our team can reach easily from the road.
Book your collection
When it is full, book a collection online or by phone. We lift it straight onto the vehicle.
Recycled responsibly
Waste is sorted at a licensed facility and you get a Waste Transfer Note.
What we can and cannot collect
We collect
- General household rubbish
- Garden waste: branches, grass, leaves
- DIY waste: wood, tiles, plasterboard
- Old carpets and non-electrical items
- Light commercial waste and packaging
We cannot take
- Hazardous waste: asbestos, chemicals, solvents
- Gas bottles and pressurised containers
- Electrical appliances (see appliance removal)
- Raw food or animal waste
- Small skip bags: heavy rubble, bricks or soil

Which skip bag size do I need?
Small (1 yard) suits a spare-room declutter or a few bags of garden waste. Medium (1.5 yards) is a good fit for garden projects or a small bathroom refit. Large (4.5 yards) takes bulky waste and bigger trade jobs. Heavy, dense waste such as rubble should go in a medium or large bag and must stay within the weight limit.
Already have a bag from another company?
We collect third-party skip bags, including Hippo bags, as long as they contain no more than ten rubble sacks’ worth of heavy waste and are within sight of the road. Book a collection-only service below.

No, as long as the bag sits on your own property such as a driveway or front garden. Bags on the public highway need council permission.
You get an email confirming your collection date. On the day we text you an estimated arrival time, usually with at least 30 minutes’ notice.
Yes, as long as our team has not already set off to you. Give us as much notice as you can and any refund due is issued within 5 working days. Call 0800 002 5490 to make a change.
